Mary Ross Buchholz draws inspiration from her pioneering ranching heritage and daily life on her west Texas ranch near Eldorado, where she lives and works with her husband. For more than 18 years, she has created striking charcoal and graphite drawings that capture the beauty and authenticity of the Western lifestyle through softly rendered detail and realism. TX. Her work has appeared in publications including Western Art Collector. She was recognized as both a winner and finalist in the 2014 Art Renewal Center Salon competition and returned as a finalist in 2015 and 2016.
